I doubt there's anyone who has seen director, Neeraj Pandey's A Wednesday who won't need give Special Chabbis a chance. Regardless of Akshay Kumar. And naturally, Akshay Kumar followers who have not seen A Wednesday don't want any extra credentials to watch Particular Chabbis. Nicely played, I say.
Even if it is a pity that star power is considered essential even by indie filmmakers. The hope now's that Akshay Kumar gets to show that he can truly act when given the opportunity. Until the Akshay Kumar drama overshadows a fine story that Neeraj Pandey might need at hand.
Additionally, by some means I can't shake out the Ocean's Eleven feel I get from the title to the trailer, which may take Particular Chabbis either way. If it may carry of the glamour and oomph of Ocean's Eleven without letting go of the basic sturdy story telling and narrative that A Wednesday had, it would be perfect. A particularly difficult stability to strike.
However, like a reader factors out in the feedback section, if Particular Chabbis is even a fraction as engaging as A Wednesday now we have an excellent movie to look forward to. Personally, the Akshay Kumar factor makes it very straightforward for me to walk in with out too many high expectations
