Neelam Cyclone Hits mahabalipuram
Cyclone Neelam is at present 270 kilometres off Chennai coast. The meteorological division officials have mentioned that this cyclone is slowly heading towards the coast and is most probably to make a landfall between Kadalore and Nellore through Wednesday evening. In the wake of cyclone alert, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu states took all measures to ensure that there might no damage because of Neelam cyclone. The sources mentioned that during all 22 districts of Tamil Nadu, the faculties have been stored closed.
